Re: Antique Oak Sideboard Buffet with Mirror
You have a charming oak buffet from the late 1800's. This is only a guess, but it's possible that it's English rather than American. The buffet has beatuful detail. including the syle of the feet, the drawer pulls and detail around the mirror, which appears to be beveled.. It seems to be in fabulous shape with the original finish and lovely patina. If everything is in the condition it appears and the drawers in good working order, I would value your buffet at between $675-$750.

Thank You for your comment swert, Although I feel the value You appraised is low.....But of coarse I'm alittle bias! lol!
Re: Antique Oak Sideboard Buffet with Mirror
You may well be right. I wouldn't hesitate to ask for more.I have seen similar pieces listed for more, but wonder if they sell for that price. It always depends on what's of interest in a given market.
Re: Antique Oak Sideboard Buffet with Mirror
It's in the Empire Revival style, circa 1890-1900, value depends on its wood type, some are oak grained over maple, the better ones are solid quartercut oak. They were worth a lot more during the late 1980's than today, at their peak they often sold for over $1500.00, today less than $800.00
