Lane cedar chest pennsylvania dutch motif 9/24/1952

By yimandalay, 27 January, 2011
Description

Inside the chest there is a separate cedar box affixed to the left side. All hardware is intact and working including locks. There are two locks - one for the chest itself and the other for the center drawer at the bottom of the chest. There are 3 drawers at the bottom -two larger ones flanking the smaller center one that locks. The lid lock is a button type. It is the original lock and hasn't been replaced with the child safety lock. It has the two original keys (one for each lock). All original paperwork is still attached to the inside lid. Aroma still excellent. It is in excellent condition except for some marring on top of the lid. The background paint color is dark green with gold and deep red accent colors for the flowers. Lid and bottom is trimmed in dark red color
