History I bought this painting at an estate sale. I recognized the name and then realized that it was a painting that is described in detail in one of my favorite William Wharton novels "Scumbler." Is this item still for sale? What is the owner asking for it? Can it be shipped to Australia? Regards Anthony

Avidilley,

I am contacting you to inquire if you would consider selling the painting of Sweik's room?  I am very interested because this was my room in Paris and I am the character Sweik in Bert's novel the Scumbler.  THis painting means alot to me and I would love to have it.  It is a rememberance of my more than 40 year friendship with Bert du Aime.

I can be contacted at [email protected]

Thank you,

Larry
