Re: Qianlong porcelain chinese teapot

Hi, this teapot does have a Qinglong mark on the base, but it is not old. Sorry. For Chinese Art and articles about Chinese Art go to Cathay Trader. We are constantly warning people to beware the current hysteria surounding Chinese Art as the Chinese have been copying the work of earlier periods for centuries and the world of Chinese Art includes an ocean of fakes. The very last thing to look at, when looking at Chinese porcelain, is the mark. Read our article Chinese Art 2011. Sorry to give you bad news. Sam Trader
