Description
I found this sketching along with two others, all in matching frames. The brown paper on the backs of the frames has been torn almost right off, but the photos seem to be in great shape. I know it's a sketching by Ingres, 1823, is signed in the bottom left corner, and a number 16 is stamped on the bottom right. It is called the Teresa Nogarola, Countess Apponyi. I found them at a thrift store and had to take them home. The frames are 14 x 11 and judging by the sticker on the back, i'd say they were framed years ago, the phone number of the company who framed it is a 5 digit number with two letters in front of it, very old school.
Re: Teresa Nogarola, Countess Apponyi Sketching
3 Sketches found at the thrift store. All signed by Ingres, all numbered in the bottom right corners. Great condition. No idea as to what they may be worth
