 In order to get help with this, you really need to add more, better lit pics. close ups of the blade, the handle, pommel, any damages, and any identifying marks would be particularly helpful.

For these types we need more indicators of age, makers marks, what material its made out of, better pictures.

As for what it is, it looks like a us calvary blade circa 1860. Without better pictures i can't give a appraisel to what it is worth.
