Drexel "New Travis Court Collection" Table

Description

Acquired a heavy wooden table, of high quality for an incredibly low price. Upon Inspection the dating, brand, and collection name were all stamped on the underside of the table. The chairs also have identification codes stamped on them, so it occurred to me that some expert consultation was needed...

The New Travis Court line was an original "Drexel" line introduced during the late 1940's. The company became " Drexel Heritage" in 1974. Anything marked "Drexel" predates 1974.

Tables like this one are Federal Revival pieces, designed to resemble American furniture made 1780-1820. Comparable tables sell at auction for under $350.00.
