Drexel Heritage Furniture

By baronessar, 25 March, 2011
Description

I have for sale the following items and would like to know an approximate valuation as they were very expensive pieces of Drexel Heritage and I don't know what they are worth today.

These are the pieces I have from the original Woodbriar collection:

6 foot long rectange dining room table with 6 side chairs and 2 arm chairs    The chairs were recovered abt 8 years ago in a

southwestern pattern.    I had a mirror also custom made to go with the dining room set.

4 door lit hutch

2 open side etagere shelving units

1 lingere chest

1 beautiful, large desk with matching chair covered in white

Woodbriar II (I think since it's a slightly darker shade)

a very tall shelving unit with 2 shelves on top, then 4 drawers, then 2 shelves - same hardware as the original collection.

Re: Drexel Heritage Furniture

Well, with modern furniture you can knock off 50% of the value as soon as you leave the store with it, and value goes down from there. In the current market these pieces would sell for more as separate items than as a set.

Re: Drexel Heritage Furniture

I am new to this site.  Haven't got a clue how to use it.  Also I do not see anyway to see when this post was done or general location of person trying to sell it.

I am very interested in the dinning room chairs.

Agree that you will probably get more in pieces than all together.  Many people like me are trying to complete a set or add a piece.

I would also be interested in prices on the other pieces.
