Lamp, no info on it and no names or logos.

By Integraoligist, 11 April, 2011
Description

I do not have much info on this, I can not find a name or logo or anything telling me who made this lamp.  It does work perfectly, when you turn the knob on it the top will turn on, then just the bottom, then both.

If you need any more info or pictures on this please let me know.

Thank you!

Re: Lamp, no info on it and no names or logos.

Lamps like these are reproduction based on the well known "Gone with the Wind" style oil lamps. They are mass produced items, most post date World War Two. Values for them depend a great deal on how close the copy originals and the decoration of the shades. At auction they often sell for under $100.00.

Re: Lamp, no info on it and no names or logos.

 Thanks Lovejoy for the info!

Is there any type of marking or something that will verify it's a Repo so we can get a 100% that it's not worth more then $100?   As I'm now looking to sell it I dont want to undercut myself.

Thanks again!

Re: Lamp, no info on it and no names or logos.

Short answer, not really, the originals were Oil lamps, this one was electric from the get go, it's a repro.
