Dutch girl cookie jar

Description

This is a dutch girl cookie jar that is in excellent condition.It was given to me.  There are no markings on the bottom.  The lid encompasses her arms, chest and head. The color red s left on her hair, partially on the lip and part of the black for her eyes is left.

my girlfriend and I go to a lot of garage sales and she knows hat I like cookiejars so she bought this for me. I doubt that she paid more than $5 for it (if that much) because we pick things that we see for each other and like to she who can get the best deal for the lowest price.

There's a lot of these about, and reproductions of them have been made since the 1980's. The unmarked examples tend to reproductions and sell for about $70.00 at auction.
