Description
"New Automatic" treadle sewing machine made by Sewing Machine Factory in Rockford, Illinois. Item is intact and fully functional. Decals are worn, in some areas worse than others. Decals are green with orange and gold(?). It has a metal plate on back of machine, near handwheel, with "C338438" stamped on it. Bobbin case is bullet-shaped and swings front-to-back while sewing. Uses long thin bobbins and has 4 included. When opening the unit up, the top lid raises the machine head as it opens. Blue Instruction Book came with it and has New Automatic stamped on front cover.

Not much demand for treadle machines unless you have something very old or unusual. I'm not sure who made this one , but it looks like a Singer clone. Most like this often sell for about $150.00.
