Persian silver?

By Lmarc, 1 June, 2011
Description

These are twelve spoons given to me by someone who was going to throw them away.  They look old and appear to be hand-made, but I'm certainly no expert on this.  The artwork has a similar motif but all are different in detail.  By what I've gleaned from the internet they may be Persian (Iranian) and may be silver.

Any information on these will be greatly appreciated!

Re: Persian silver?

There's not much information on middle eastern hallmarksYou'd have to get them tested for silver content, right now stuff like this is being scrapped for its silver bullion value rather than its value as antiques or collectibles.
