Description
There is no date but on the inside cover page is just the name and author and Chicago W. B. Conkey Company. I know that the company was built around 1871 and relocated to Hammond, Ind. 1898. That should show the age of the book. It has 234 pages plus an advertisement page for the works of Ella Wheeler Wilcox (prices $1.00 -$2.00). It is tan with a flower shaped similar to wheat with tall slender leaves. Binding is very good condition but pages are slightly brittle with the first page and title page torn (all pieces here, therefore, it may not be worth much unless it can be restored.
