Wood Chest

Description

Wooden  chest with lift top and fold down front pane. Lined inside with fabric. Two drawers on the bottom.. Has lock and key on the front. Carvings appear only on the front of chest and is plain wooden panels on the sides and back.

Pieces like these are what's called  "Gothic Revival". They are generally Victorian pieces made post 1830, but revived again in the 1920's. Still pieces like this really need a physical examination to determine what they are and place a value.
