Chinese palace lantern

This is a beautiful 2ft x 2ft, 2 tier hexagonal chinese palace lantern. with six sided wood carving dragon hardwood frame, 12  reverse hand painted glass panels. 2 glass panels have crack but are still intact. Chip in the wood frame by the dragon head. Overall the lantern is in good condition. In the center possible iron hook. I would love to know if this is a antique or not.

Was given to me by a friend that was moving. Was told that the lantern was about 100 years old. Not much is known about the item.
