A. Santini Classical Lion Sculpture

By queenpossom, 3 November, 2011
Description

I had to take pictures with my phone so they're not quality but I got one of the signature and of the full sculpture under the best lighting I could. I've seen a.santini lions but I've never been able to find one exactly like this one so I don't know it's actual value for it's size and the rarity of this particular sculpture.  I once emailed the daughter of A. Santini who gave me a little information on it (probably 7 or 8 years ago) and she said the approximate value at the time was around $300 usd. I just wondered if it was still going for that or more or less now.

Re: A. Santini Classical Lion Sculpture

Values are all over the place with these Italian pieces, depending on who's at the auction and knows anything about them. here's a link to Santini pieces sold at auction to give you an idea of the market.
