 Red clay figure,appears to be Aztec God of the Underworld.Would like more information on possible age.

You mention it has a hole in the bottom. This would indicate possibly it was made in a mold and if so would make it relitively recent and maybe a tourist type item from cancun or mexico.

I would agree that it's most likey a copy made for thetourist market. That said, these things really need a physical appraisal to determine origins and vintage.
