History
This figurine was supposed to have been bought in Paris by Marilyn Monroe and brought back to the U.S. as a gift for a Vaudeville dancer. My mother was working in a nursing home at the time, and when the sweet lady passed away, she left it to me. The story cannot be proved, but I do believe she was telling the truth as I remember her having many autographs and Christmas cards from famous people.

Re: Glass Blown Clown

Sorry to say this is modern Italian Murano glass, it's unlikely it predates the 1960's, similar pieces are still in production. Values tend to be modest unless the piece has a company label or etched marking.
