By lnh, 13 February, 2012
Description

believed to be painted around the 1900's , by dr cecil harvey or hanney (writing is hard to read)

it is called cottages in the naurmes and has a provence from the william rodman gallery in belfast who stopped trading i think around the 1930's . it is an oil on board , a landscape , i dunno seems to have something about it ??? The painting is in fairly good condition , cant find the artist but can found the gallery who i believe only showed fairly good work?? however no records as no longer trade !! since then a mystery but has ended up in surrey england instead of ireland .

i would like to sell , but have to find out more about it first , i rescued this .

Re: oil on board framed by dr cecil harvey or hanney title ...

Paintings really are not suited to the online appraisal format, they really need the sevrices of a qualified Fine Arts Appraiser to identify the artist and establish a market value.
