Powderhorn - Possibly Silver & Horn/Shell - Engraved and a Small Marking/Hallmark

Description

Powder-Horn - unsure if this is antique or replica or a powder-horn at all?

Found many years ago on the bank of the River Mersey - near Liverpool, UK.

Item looks like it is mainly some some of horn/shell/bone and is embellished with what looks like silver.  Has some cracks to the main 'horn'.

Chain attaches to each end.

There is a small marking/hallmark - under a magnifying glass it looks like a 'A' sign with arrows on the edge of the legs. See pictures for this.
