Description
This is a large framed picture, a plaque on the front says 'Harlequin on Horseback' 'Picasso'. On the back there are 2 stickers: 1 says the title and 'Picasso' again, then (1881- ), oil on cardboard, 1904, from the collection of Henry L Mermod, Laussant, Switzerland... the other sticker says Simmons Fine Art, High Street, CrOydon... I have uploaded pics- do you think this could be worth anything..?

Re: Harlequin on Horseback - Picasso
If this indeed a Picasso, you would do best by contacting sothebys...there are some records as to what he put out, but there is also a lot ofcopycats. You would def.want this authenicated...therefore, if it IS an original, cleaning is nothing compared to what it would bring in a sale. Good luck and do make sure you take this to a reputable art dealer or appraiser. It might be a wise idea to make sure you get it insured, immed. There are many reputable art appaisers of the European masters...this is def.worth the effort to investigate further! Good luck.
