I have two of these pictures/sculptures.These are metal statues that are framed with a light fixture on the top. The metal has been painted by an artist named P. Gaertner it is signed and dated 1953. On the metal sculpture itself is etched HARDY. It has decorated corners of the same metal in the sculpture that are not painted. It is all incased in a wood frame that is unvarnished. These are pretty heavy I think around 35 or 40 pounds (no scale). These were purchased in the San Francisco area in the 1950s by my mother. I know that the man who painted them was a deaf artist, but I can't find any other info when looking up the name. They are sculptures are of a Arab man hunting on a white horse.I would like to get an opinion of value and where to sell for fair price.
