Your set is what's called Dragonware, it was made in Japan from the 1890's right through to the 1960's, your set is typical for examples made after WW2. It was made in huge numbers and brought back by American service men after WW2, Korea and Vietnam. Most full sets sell for under $200.00.

There is not a huge market for it, and values tend to be modest for it because of that. Currently on Ebay there is 345 listings for it. Here's a link to give you an idea.
