Antique Doors

By D-Rock, 27 July, 2012
Description

These doors are out of a 1920's / 40's home.  I see these types of doors selling for hundreds of dollars on the internet.  Are the doors I have Antique and worth money.  I believe they are Pine and not Oak due to the weight and solid tone of the wood.  Hardware seems to be brass.

Re: Antique Doors

Based on the images these are pretty standard french doors one would find in houses made as late as the 1940's. My house was built in 1946 and has identical doors. These same doors are still in production today. I don't see values for them in the secondary market for hundreds of dollars, we oftem sell them for under $150.00.
