received this from my aunt 25 years ago who said it belonged to her mother. So I am estimating it's approximately 75 years old or older. There is a small gold round stamp on the bottom but it is faded and cannot be read (I have tried even using a magnifying glass). The top and bottom of the pitcher are adorned in a violet/purple glaze that shines. The middle of the front of the vase has pink roses with yellow and pink grapes and green leaves. I think this pitcher is worth something, but I don't know how much and without the identifying marks being readable I can't estimate it's value. Any help would be greatly appreciated. One last note, my aunt was from Poland so the pitcher is Polish in origin.

Re: 7 inch creamer/pitcher
It's an example of "Luster ware", the type originally was very popular inthe early 1800's, but based on the images and your description of the mark this one dates from the 20th century. One rarely sees gold colored company markings on pieces made before World War Two. Values at auction, under $25.00.
Re: 7 inch creamer/pitcher
Thank you very much for you review of the piece. Now I can safely put it on Ebay and see what I can get for it...
it was definitely a stamp of the MFG on the bottom, just can't read it because it is too faded.
Re: 7 inch creamer/pitcher
Hello I was wondering if you could possibly take a look at the ewer I posted yesterday and give me an idea of what it may be worth...
Thank you,
Kelley

What is the URL (direct link) to the ewer appraisal request?
