Re: Old (vintage?) Safilo glasses
designer glasses from Italy
Re: Old (vintage?) Safilo glasses
You have any info on year, price, collectilbility?
Re: Old (vintage?) Safilo glasses
Safilo is the world's second largest eyewear company and they are still in business. They sell perscription frames so that is probably what the numbers are on your frames. Someone's script. They may be hard to sell but not impossible. I would stop by a optometrist's office and ask them are they perscription frames and then go from there.
Re: Old (vintage?) Safilo glasses
OK, ill do that. So, I should probably hope that they are not perscription?
Re: Old (vintage?) Safilo glasses
They might still sell, maybe $15.00? If they were mine I would either list them on Ebay and see what happens or see if the eye doc could put my perscription in those frames. But best of luck to you.
Re: Old (vintage?) Safilo glasses
1 more question... frame is really really nice and beautiful close up, im sorry i dont have better camera to capture it.
so im wondering... why would glass be that big of a factor for the entire value? i mean, they can be replaced... i sort of thought frame is like 80% of the appeal. take a look at this better picture here
