just recieved my grandmothers fine china.... its a serving set of 18.... ( 18 tea cups, 18 saucers, 18 dinner plates, 18 salad plates, 18 soup bowls, 18 little bowls, a butter dis, creamer, sugar bowl with lid, a large serving plate, large serving bowl, small serving plate, small/medium serving bowl), its a hira fine china japan cynthia pattern.. its never been used in excellent condition, no marks, no scratches no chips, paint is in perfect/excellent condition. i was trying to get it appraised to see if its worth anything.. i know it was bought for my grandmother in the early 50's and she only used it for display

The Hira China Company is still in existance today and made export china....The pattern you have dates it from late 50's, early 60's....Its a nice complete set and would retail sell for about $300....on these older sets, indivudal pieces can command a higher total value when sold separately as replacement pieces.
