Re: Antique oil painting in gold plaster of Paris boxed frame
If you could send me a few more up close photos of the painting, I'd love to see them. Can you see a signature anywhere on the piece?
Thanks

Re: Antique oil painting in gold plaster of Paris boxed frame
I'll get my Nikon out tomorrow and take better pictures for you vs the bad ipad pictures. There is no signature on this painting but the other one does have a signature but its partially obscured by the frame. Both of the paintings are similar landscapes and done IMHO really well (the details in the trees caught my eye today looking at them). I can also tell you they are old enough that the glass is distorted like windows on old houses. I'll post the pictures between 8-10am tomorrow.
Re: Antique oil painting in gold plaster of Paris boxed frame
Added 3 new pictures. One new close-up of the original painting, one of the second and a close-up of the signature on the 2nd painting.
Does anyone have any further…
