Kenmore Gas Room Heater Manufactured by Sears & Roebuck

By livingston1967, 1 October, 2012
Description

Trying to figure out if this is worth trying to sell on ebay. Kenmore Gas Room Heater manufactured by Sears & Roebuck Co. The model # is 148811025.   25,000 BTU per hour output. Good condition, none of the grates are broken. The grates are a diamond shape. I was just curious about the year of this heater and what I might sell it for. I have uploaded some pictures.

Thanks,

These date from ther turn of 19th century to about World War One.We see these go for about $125.00 at auction, one should not use one of these without it being checked out by a qualified Gas Tech.

Re: Kenmore Gas Room Heater Manufactured by Sears & Roebuck

Would you happen to know where I can find/buy the diamond shaped grates for this model? I need all five for a heater that I recently bought. The heater is in great shape, but without the grates. Also, should I leave the patina or get some brasso and restore it to its original condition?

Thanks.
