Carnival Glass Vase

By jamiemdailey, 16 October, 2012
Description

This is a carnival glass vase that has been passed down through my family. It is cobalt blue and in research I've done I've come across "Fenton's", "Northwood", and "Fine ribbed" that all look similar to this vase. I'm looking to find out what it's worth. Possibly sell it.

Re: Carnival Glass Vase

I just looked at them. They're very similar to mine. I think it's very neat looking cause you really can't tell what color it is. Thank you for the links. They were very helpful.

Re: Carnival Glass Vase

"Pulled" vases of this type were made by most companies making this sort of glass, they've also been extensively reproduced since the 1960's. It's very hard to attribute a maker to unmarked pieces, examples like this often sell at auction in the $20.00- $40.00 range.
