Description

We recently bought a home in a very upscale neighborhood. The dining room chandelier is very elaborate, although not exactly in line with our tastes...

I am looking for any approximations on the value of this chandelier. I am certain that it is from the 1970's, as nearly everything in the home was original.

I have tried looking for distiguishing marks but have found none so far. Where would one usually find this type of mark?

you most likely will have to take it down to find any mark...its probably in the housing.  Chandliers have a good resell value.  Yours would be in the $300+ range, presuming its all intact.

Modern chandeliers like this seldom have much in the way of markings as paper or foil labels were often used. The demand for them currently is not that great, here is a link to current auction sales for them:
