Description

Set of 8 cocktail pick swords in holder, brass with what seems to be stainless steel blades (picks), has display/ holder. Only marking is: Toledo. Only thing I found was the same set for sale on Etsy with the label: Toledo Damascene Olive Sword Cocktail Picks. Only other info is that they seem to be mid-century.

Size and dimensions of this item stand: 4 1/2 inches tall, top of stand is 2 inches across, bottom of stand is 1 inch across.
swords: 3 1/2 inches long from blade tip to top of handle

Date Period maybe mid-century

Weight not sure

History all I know is that they belonged to the mother of a vietnam vet.

You are correct. These are fairly recent (mid 20th century) olive picks. Toledo is a city in spain that has been producing various blades for hundreds of years. These are fairly common and sell for around $12.50-15.

I had the same set I picked up for around $5.00, I come across loose picks of all sizes all the time at estate sales and flea markets. Not very rare but fun!
