This is part of an estate, and I don't know where to begin in determining the value. (if any) There's a possibility this was handed down through the family, and is European, (Polish?) in origin.
It's not a Ginger jar, it's just an urn, Being unmarked it's most likely late 19th century Continetal piece. Not much value for unmarked urns like this, they were generally knock off of example by well known companies such as Royal Bonn. About $150.00 at auction.
