I have A Roos Cedar Chest with the tags still on the inside showing the date made and the $250.00 insurance for moth damage. Measures 43 1/2" Wide 18 1/2" Deep and 23" High. And had a felt line drawer that raises when the top is opened and a sliding drawer on the bottom. There is some slight damage where it appears some type of stain got into the top of the chest. It looks like a newspaper that was wet may have been set ontop.
What I believe makes this more desireable is that along with this I have 3 matching pieces of furniture by Roos. Two are what appears to be night stands of some sort and another would be a chest with 2 drawers that slide out. I have been trying to locate info on Roos and all I find is that the company made cedar chests only. Im trying to see if the matching pieces add value to the Roos Chest I have
Re: Roos Chest
We've had quite a few Roos chests through here, this one is in the Art Deco Water Fall Style popular during the late 1930's through 40's. Here is a link to the Roos discussions.

Generally we retail Roos chests like this for under $350.00.
