What is this..

Description

This appears to be some kind of collection of the ends of pens..There are 3 different sizes mounted on a 2x6 board..has various logos such as Amoco, Mrs filberts, spring air, green stamp, NFL alumni, Miller high life, Ford, Total of 26 caps on board..might be a salesman sample ..Any help would be appreciated ..thank you

This design looks like it may have been made with a dapping block.  the spheres pictured is much like that of the impressions made by dapping.  They can be used for several things.  Jewelers quit often will make a square one, displaying a different stone in each dapp hole.
