Description

Stands 11" tall and is 5 1/2" in diameter. Light green with raised gold beading around double-sided scenes of small boats in a Japanese seascape. Hand painted - NIPPON on the bottom. Dates to early 1940's (?).

It's a nice Nippon vase by Noritake, made prior to 1921. Values for Nippon peaked in the 1990's along with other late 19th Century china. At auction most of them sell today for under $150.00. Examples that are signed or of an unusal design or large size will sell for more.
