Re: Bachruch Silver Pitcher Tankard

The Bachruch hallmark is likely that of Austrian silversmith Carl Bachruch (1867 - 1905).

The head of Diana in the punch with 5 lobes is the Austro-Hungarian mark used on silver of .800 purity  from 1867 - 1922.

The triangle hallmark is likely a secondary mark that belongs to Bachruch. Austrian silversmiths often hallmarked their silver with their names or initials along with a copyrighted symbol of some sort.

I hope this helps.

Yes, Thank you so much!

Do you have any idea of the value?      And if I do decide to sell,  where is a good place to go with this sort of item?

Thanks again!  I really do appreciate your input!!!

Re: Bachruch Silver Pitcher Tankard

It's minimum value would be as scrap bullion, which at 12.5 oz.  would be about $350.00, as an antique I'd peg it in the $600.00- $800.00 range
