Description

i purchase this wrought/cast iron (I think it's wrought iron) from a thrift store for $1. It says "POrtland Stove Fdry Co" on the back and looks to have a floral or 4 leaf clover design... Please tell me what this is... and if it has any value... etc... Thanks!

Re: Portland Stove Foundry Company Piece - Need Info please!

Hello,

This is a trivet to put a hot pan on to prevent danage to a table. It was made between 1920 & 1930 in Portland Maine. I would guess value in the $20 - $30 range. Is this something you would like to sell? If so let me know. you can email me at [email protected]
