Blue/White China

By km1977, 28 March, 2013
Description

Last ones I promise! As I go through them, I keep finding more and more interesting ones. One looks like a butter dish, another looks like a similar one from earlier, but has a lid. The last one is for serving cream? The marks on these are not as prominent as the others, maybe this means they are homemade or maybe even older than the others? The rest of the collection has alot of chips and are pretty as well but not in the best shape. Is this maybe a hobby she had, collecting blue and white only? Do many people collect these? Are they hard to find in good condition? Rare? Expensive? It is hard to find information on them.

History
Same as before. I have a great aunt that passed away whom I did not know, but for whatever reason wanted to leave them to the youngest woman in the family. She had stored these on display in her home in an antique china hutch that I also have now. I am curious to know more about them and really do not have any idea where to start. I feel incredibly lucky to have found this site and Kathybeh! Thank you for the help!

Re: Blue/White China

This pitcher and tureen are considered  "flow blue" its where the color bled into the white. A lot of people collect this. I cant read that mark at all. Sorry.
