Mens' Gold dress watch-Rolex Geneve Cellini

By dominguezmichshe, 22 April, 2013
Description

Hello and thank you for your time. I have a mens' dress watch that has a gold metal wrist strap with an adjustable clasp. The face is black with no numbers. instead there are gold lines where numbers should be and is encased by gold. It says Rolex Geneve under 12 and Cellini above 6. It looks like it may be from the 70's-80's. I am unfamiliar with it and would like information as well as an approximate value.

Re: Mens' Gold dress watch-Rolex Geneve Cellini

I believe this is almost certainly a fake. While I am not a Rolex expert, I'm almost positive the case back should be gold, not stainless steel, and the bracelet has a very fakey look to it. With that said, with the value of Rolex watches, it would be worth taking it to a local Rolex dealer, or jeweler if one is not available near you, to have a definitive opinion given.

The watch is fake! I did some research and genuine one looks way better and its value is 3.300$.
