1970 Autographed Basketball - Lakers Team

By mjuron, 23 April, 2013
Description

This ball is in great condition. It was signed by the majority (maybe entire) Lakers team.  Wilt Chamberlain signed early on.  Jerry West signed after.  When Wilt saw that Jerry had signed he said, "If Jerry signed, I have to sign twice." He re-signed the basketball so there are TWO Wilt signatures, as well as Pat Riley, Happy Hairston, Gale Goodrich, etc.

I see that a a 1987 ball autographed by a number of players is being advertised for almost $2,400 (http://www.sportsmemorabilia.com/sports-products/1987-nba-champions-lak…).

How much do you think this ball is worth?

NOTE: PICTURE ATTACHED IS NOT MY BALL. IT IS THE PICTURE FROM THE LINK POSTED. I WILL POST A PICTURE SHORTLY. I AM NOT HOME NOW.

with the story begind the ball and after you have it certified ofcourse , i would put the ball around the 1500-2000 range. although you may have trouble getting fair value in thos economy with most sports collectables tanking
