Description

Purchased this book at an estate sale. I've tried to research the year of this copy, but no year was listed underneath the publisher on the title page. The closest indication to a copy date was in the introduction where it says, "...and at this date (Nov. 15, 1852), Messrs, Jewett have sold nearly 150,000 copies." This can be seen in the attached photos.

The book is in rough shape, but is intact. I'm just curious about what edition it is, and the actual year of my copy. I couldn't find an exact match online for the cover so I'm at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated! A ballpark idea of value would also be greatly appreciated.
