Bedroom suite

By rarkj, 25 June, 2013
Description

Two of the pieces had tags still attached to them. The tags stated the following: Specialty Furniture Co., Evansville, IN. Rosenbaum & Bros., 1055 Mt Vernon, IND. We found a short article about the Specialty Furniture Co., that states it opened in 1894 and closed in 1910. We think Rosenbaum & Bros., was the department store it was shipped to.

Re: Bedroom suite

Your suite dates from the second quarter of the 20th Centuury, and like many made during that period is a mix of styles, this one tries to combine Art Deco, Sheraton with a bit of Rococo thrown into the mix. At aution suites like this generally go for $500.00  or less.
