Description
My Grandmother was married in 1930 so they are probably from that era. These figures are playing a drum. One of the figures has what appears to be written in red ink on the bottom "made by Dorothy Ugmes.".

Re: Chalkware figurines
Chalkware is basically just plaster cast in a mold, the molds could be rubber or some other waterproof material. Signed pieces were made as a hobby from kits, these kits were made right through the 1950's. Values for most chalkware is very modest unless it's vwery early and has a provenace to back it up.
