Rolltops like this were made from the turn of the 19th Century through the 1920's. They hit a peak of popularity in the 1990's, and have had a decline in values since that time. Currently at auction comparable desks like this now often sell in the 300-500 range.

It's too bad you missed the peak of the market, we used to sell any we could get our hands on in a matter of days for over $2000.00, now they sit around for over a month at under a $1000.00.

These and the Royola you commented on, if they are solid oak actually sell in the neighbourhood of $1500 to $2000.
