I have a gold pocket watch, it has a hunter case, and origianl chain with attached key for winding.
Montandon is on the porcalin face and I cant find any other markings except Patent Lever full jewelled Montandon Locle on the back of the inside case

Ok if it is gold it will have some kind of mark other than the one you have stated, find that mark and get back to me. You might have to use a loop but find me those marks!!!!

I just found your ad on ebay doing research on your watch but I would have to say your price is pretty close, I would just let it play out and if nothing drop it to 499 or best offer. Its only gold filled but very cool. I feel you could get 400 or more out of it.
