Description
I have a Norman Rockwell print Hopeless Case (Dr holding doll with child sitting on sofa with umbrella) It has Donald Art Company NO 50832 on bottom of print and Norman Rockwell written on print
"A Hopeless Case" is based on a painting by Norman Rockwell painting, appearing on the cover of The Literary Digest published on January 13, 1923. Like most Rockwell illustrations it has been in production ever since. The Donald Art Company was founded in the 1950's by Donald Bonnist, he retired in 1984, the companywas sold, but still produced prints until about 1992. So the earliest this one could date would be the 1950's, the value for it very modest at about $25.00.
