Rway 10 Piece Dining Room Set

By Nicola Wakelin, 29 September, 2011
Description

Very nice Rway 10 piece dining set. Everything is original. Buffet has glass top for extra protection. Dining table comes with 2 leaves which extends table to fit 10 and also includes original protection pads. Everything is in excellent condition few small scratches and a couple small dings at bottom of china hutch. The wood on the original mirror is okay but the mirror glass itself is damaged and needs to be replaced. I would love to know when this was made, what type of wood it is and how much the entire set together is worth. Dimensions are:  Buffet 60 1/4" Long, 22" Wide, 35 1/2" High. Hutch 50 1/4" Long, 16" Wide, 73" High. Table 64" Long, 42" Wide, 29 1/2" High.

Re: Rway 10 Piece Dining Room Set

I believe the wood is mahogany and probably no later than the 1950's since the Northern Furniture/Rway period is 1900-1950. Hope that helps somewhat.
