Stadler-Neuwirth Inc. Lamps Brass & Marble Lamp With Removable Cap

By galaxee10, 6 May, 2012
Description

I have what appears to be a very old brass lamp.

It has a slab of marble(?) at the base.

It has a removable white cap that sits on top of the light globe, which has the words CLM Type C Patent Pend ESLMP on it.

The cord has the letters CLM on it.  The cord is mended with tape near the plug.  It is also cracked at the area where it goes into the lamp.

It has a company tag on it that says Stadler-Newirth Inc.  Below that is a triangle and what appears to be a long rod with a propeller type item on the end.  Under that is the word Lamps.

It weighs approximately 3 - 5 lbs.

Re: Stadler-Neuwirth Inc. Lamps Brass & Marble Lamp With...

hey there,

i also have a similar lamp made by stadler neuwirth. other than this site and your post i can not find any info on this lamp. mine was bought at an estate auction in pittsburgh and it came with a bunch of other stuff. the globe and metal were in the box and i didn't even know that they were part of the lamp. now i have a complete lamp.maybe these are unique and not many were made and we have rare items ( wishful thinking, of course ) worth a lot of money. other than mine not having marble on the base it looks similar to yours. if you ever get any info please let me know and i will do likewise.
