I bought this set from an old couple and they told me that it was owned by the woman's brother who is now on a convalescent home.They don't have much knowledge about it but they said it was bought 30yrs ago at an Antique store in Turloc Ca. For about $3000.00.

It's in the Victorian style, but it's not Victorian. Sets like this are "In the style of" but not of the Victorian period, most of them made between World Wars One and Two. Furniture like this now is very hard to sell, the Victorian style falling out of favor in the 1990's, similar sets often sell at auction for less than $500.00.
